Frame: Rigid from Cobra Engineering Gosport Hampshire with 35deg rake and 2in stretch.
Engine: Delkron Evo extra strong cases, S&S oil pump/ rockers/carb, Harley Davidson internals.
Trans: 5 speed Harley with hydraulic clutch, reservoir and lever by Performance Machine.
Primary drive: BDL 3 inch open belt with 1.4kw electric starter by All Balls Racing of Canada.
Final drive: Harley Sportster 1 inch belt with 33 tooth front pulley & 61 rear [tall geared for low revving cruise speed and economy].
Forks: Modified Showa Suzuki GSX with Cerani Wide Glide yokes & powder coated black.
Wheels: Front 19 inch Sportster cast wheel machined to accept Suzuki twin discs, Avon tyre - rear 16 inch HD Fatboy cast solid wheel machined to accept 6 inch split rims with 200 Metzeler tyre.
Brakes: Front twin Nissin 4 pot from Suzuki GSX powder coated with new seals and pads. Suzuki GSX floating discs, reservoir and lever by Performance Machine. - rear Nissin 4 pot from Honda Fireblade with Tolle disc.
Bars & risers: HD drag bars and pull back risers from 1980 HD low rider, Performance Machine reservoirs and levers, vintage cola bottle style grips.
Gas Tank: Stretched and modified HD Sportster tank by BSA factory in Southampton [private job] ssshh! with Pingel Petcock.
Oil Tank: Modified from HD twin cam Night Train.
Seat: Single sprung leather by Ultima [very comfortable].
Rear fender: Modified HD Sportster with chrome struts.
Lighting & electrics: Front light old 70s Bates powder coated, rear side mount plate with small Catseye light, electrics are mostly through the frame for clean lines as are most hydraulic lines. Rectifier, starter solenoid and fuses are contained in battery area of oil tank under seat.
The bike has another bonus in that it is registered as a 1927 Ariel with a new Delkron 1340cc engine fitted, which means free road tax and classic bike insurance, favourable construction and use regulations.
